Family Activities and Attractions:

The fact is that you can take children anywhere in Mallorca. Like the Spanish and other Mediterranean people, Mallorcans love and indulge children and even if you take an unruly toddler into a first class restaurant the only request from the waiter is likely to be for a cuddle.
Mallorca is well geared up for family holidays. There are lots of good sandy beaches with safe, shallow water and first and stations, and many of the resorts feature activities like crazy golf courses and pony rides. Some hotels have separate children's pools - ask before you go. Many also offer nurseries and baby-sitting services, and programmes of children's entertainments to keep the little ones amused during the day. So have a day off, leave the children behind, and do what you want for a change! If this is important to you, again, check with your hotel or travel agent before you go.

Here is a selection of activities that will appeal to children and adults alike.

  Note:

Looking After Children:
Small children are particularly vulnerable to sun and need to be well protected: apply high-factor sun block regularly, especially after swimming. If you need a child seat in your rented car, be sure to book it in advance and then check it carefully on arrival. The same goes for cots and high-chairs in hotels and apartments. Finally, don't forget to check that your balcony railings are secure.
