S' Arenal - Capocorb. Points of Interest: The prehistoric site at Capoeorb dates from 1000 B.C. It contains five talayots and dwellings dating from the Bronze Age but are in a good condition. From its tower you can see Cabrera Island. The views from Cabo Blanco, at dusk above all, are spectacular. Itinerary: Arenal - Lluc major - Capocorb - Arenal. Distance: 60 Kms. Difficulty: Although a long excursion, a large part runs along flat ground and therefore should not prove any difficulty if taken with time. Route: The excursion commences at the El Arenal roundabout near the fun park Aquacity. From there we set off towards Cabo Blanco for seven and a half kilometres when at this point we will observe the turn off to our left indicating the road Camí de Sa Torre which we will take. This quiet road leads through to Llucmajor, passing by the torre (tower) which gives the road its name. Once in Llucmajor we will cross the roundabout and continue along the road which erosses the town until we see a turn off to the right indicating Cala Pí. We will follow along this narrow road for 11 Kms. until we meet with the road Cabo Blanco again. We will carry on towards the right until we see a turn off from the prehistoric village Capocorb and the turn off to reach Cala Pí. Returning to El Arenal along the main road we can stop to observe the impressive cliffs of the area, from which the bay of Palma can be seen. The return along this road is much more restful with a light descent, although it is advisable to pedal with caution with it being a very wide road where vehicles circulate at great speed.
