Cala Ratjada - Cala Mesquida. Points of Interest: In Cala Ratjada, the Casa March opens its doors to visitors but only by prior appointment which can be arranged at the Tourism Office. Its gardens contain sculptures by such great artists as Rodin. On this excursion you will travel through woods and coves of great beauty. Itinerary: Cala Ratjada - Cala Agulla - Cala Mesquida - Cala Ratjada. Distance: 18 kms. return. Difficulty: Several hills of average difficulty.. The I km. of stony road entails greater difficulty. Route: we depart from the tourist information office ot Cala Ratjada. From there we shall observe a sign indicating thedirection to Cala Agulla, which is 2 kms. away. We must carry straight on until we find an avenue where there are several signs indicating directions. We shall turn left. We will arrive at the entrance of Cala Agulla and we go in via this small road which shall soon come to an end. Continuing along this sandy road we shall soon reach a tree with red and blue indications. We shall turn left and follow along a difficult road for 1 km. when we will arrive at a barrier. Passing through the barrier (remembering to shut it behind us) we shall continue along a paved straight road. After 2 kms. we shall reach the main road. By turning right we shall pass through beautiful countryside until we arrive at Cala Mesquida after 4 kms. At the entrance roundabout by taking the road to the right we shall arrive at a wonderful beach dune. For the return journey, we shall take the same road, turning left to leave the main road. After 1 km. we shall see a turn off to the right indicating Cala Agulla. This ti me we shall continue along a paved road for 1 km. until we arrive at a crossroad. We shall turn left and after 1 km. we shall arrive at Cala Agulla and from here continue to Cala Ratjada.
